e.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask Review

Hello again! I saw a couple of people rave about this product so I thought I’d give it a go. I’m not sure if they were raving because it was REALLY good, or because it was fun. The e.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask is a recent release from e.l.f. along with their skincare range. The e.l.f. websites describes it as a bubble mask that removes excess dirt and cleanses pores for glowing, healthy looking skin. The packaging is really nice, I think the system of having to push to get product is a great way to keep things clean as your finger never touch the rest of the product so there’s no way to contaminate.

You apply generously all over your face, avoiding the eye area, and let it fizz and foam for about 10 minutes or until the bubbles dissipate. When you apply it, it feels so funny on your face because you can literally feel it bubble up and fizz on your face. I love how fun it can be as other masks just sit there. I can’t really say it has transformed my skin and it is amazing in terms of benefits, but I definitely feel my skin a lot cleaner and fresher afterwards.

So far, I haven’t been super impressed with e.l.f.’s skincare products, you can check out my review of their primers here, and I guess they just do about enough, but I wouldn’t depend on them for my entire skincare routine. e.l.f. is definitely a great affordable brand that has made a name for itself because of the quality of their products, and I agree, I just wasn’t super impressed with this mask. I’ll have to try a couple more products to make my final decision.

Have there been any e.l.f. products that have wowed you? Please let me know in the comments below as I’ll love to try them!

  1. I was talking about this mask with a friend last week after seeing it on Pinterest! I always wondered how good ELF’s skincare was. I’d probably get it for a fun girls’ night just to try something different 😀

  2. I’ve been thinking about trying this when I do my next elf order, interesting to read what you thought of it. I’ve loved some of their products, though mainly makeup as their concealer palette with the four colours is amazing, their eye primer is great and I love their brushes but a lot of the elf products I liked before seem to have been discontinued which is annoying. I’m making a list of products so it’s actually worth it though, so annoying how in the UK it’s only online and not worth buying a couple of things with P&P costing as much as the products themselves.
